How does billing work?
Every plan is a prepaid credit wallet. Each model call deducts from your balance based on usage. When the balance runs out, model calls pause until your next cycle. You only pay for what you actually use.
What is the free credit?
New accounts get a one-time $3 of credit after verifying their email — enough to try Sammy across thousands of lightweight messages. Once it's gone, pick a plan to keep going.
Does unused credit roll over?
No. Each 30-day cycle your wallet refills to your plan's monthly amount; unused credit from the previous cycle is not carried over.
Can I spend my whole month's credit early?
Yes. Your monthly credit is usable any time during the cycle — there's no daily cap. If you run out before the cycle ends, upgrade or wait for the next refill.
What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key — use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key for production runtime. Available on Pro and above.
Do you store my code or user data?
No. Sammy scans your codebase locally. LLM requests pass through Sammy Cloud but we only log metadata (token counts, latency). Prompt and response content is never stored.
